Pedal interface PCB *may* be offered
2007-08-08 by (i think you can figure that out)
I was thinking last night during my usual Tuesday night special Beef Veggie soup from Sitton's Diner in Noho - if the poll tells me I should advance with the Model 27 as a retrofitted Behringer, i might (possibly, as in 'may') release the bare PCB for that as a DIY product. All the Behringer boards for all their pedal use the same footprint. The position of their moutning holes and contrl are the same. Many of them are actually almost identical circuits sans the cod that's burned into them. So for the more SDIY-ish of you, you could use this bare board, add the same components and circuits I do (which will be located on the bare board) to add the voltage control, etc. All you ave to do it disassemble the Behringer pedal of choice, remove the pots and jacks, stuff my componentry, make you case, faceplate, or whatnot - and have any one of a series of wacky processing modules on the cheap. If nothing else, it will give you the real idea how ridiculously little we charge for Plan B goods based on the work involved! - P
