Model 27 - you input is needed!

ALl,

Please make usre you give us an idea of our proposed solution for the
Model 27. Can't make a decision based on too few votes!

thanks,

Yeah I have voted to do it! Seems a good alternative and I trust your
judgment...
But please, don't make plan B the Behringer of Modular synth...;P

cheers

You don't have to worry about that!

I've already checked it out . All these Behringer pedals work on the
same principle. Once you work out how to add VC, you can do it to all
of them by just subbing one PCB for another - all the controls, etc
are in the same location. They could all interface to the same Plan B
board that would be used to house and add the circuitry to the Delay.

So I was thinking...hmmm, I could do limited additions for other
products in their line. So I bought some of their pedals and gave them
a go. I tried the Reverb, it suxd. I tried the Multi-Effect, it suxd.
Then I gave up on the idea. Their Delay however is solid. Really
really clean. You guys will like it.

Not sure how many of these Delays I'm going to make, but 30 or so
seems reasonable.

hehehe yeah behringer isn't all the best out there LOL But hey it,s
cheap and you don't feel bad is a drunken punk drops his beer
pitcher on the your Behringer mixer LOL!!!

So tell me Peter,

Have you thought of making the in and out with a stereo option?
I mean there's a lack of stereo processing modules on modular
synth... But does that mea you would have to " double" the module?
Anyway it,s just a suggestion that could be more economic that
buying two of them.

thanks for reading

Stereo ins, is the DD400 has it, I can do that. NOt sure, I didn't see the need for stereo inputs (you comments are welcomed).

Stereo outputs however - yes and it's true stereo - the delay waffs
across the stereo field in time with the tap frequency.

Next week, hopefully his weekend I'll post some soundbites. Just so
you know though, every sample I've uploaded since Namm that has delay
has been this delay. Again, the Coolaudio engine is solid. All
Behringer is doing to this is interfacing it to the CODEX and
buffering the audio in and out.

Oups!!! My mistake, I didn't take a look at the image of the module for a while and indeed
there's a stereo output...yay sorry! But the reason for the stereo in would be for treatment
of processing only for external stereo signals or, for exemple to apply the effect at the
end of the sound chain letssay a random panned sequence could be dramatically changed
if the effect is applied after the panning...does that make sense?

Did you try the em600? It offers stereo ins and various different
delay types. I have no idea what it sounds like, though.
