PLAN B analog blog

I don't have a power supply with grounded rails. All I have for my 
eurorack stuff is an analogue solutions plastic enclosure with psu and 
the doepfer mini power supply, so I can't get my model 15 to work 
properly because the faceplate is not grounded. I have tried soldering 
a wire to the ground on the pcb and then connecting it to the 
faceplate, and taking a spare power connector thats connected to the 
doepfer style bus and stripping a ground wire off it and connecting it 
to the faceplate. Neither has worked. Can anyone tell me how to ground 
the faceplate without buying an explensive doepfer metal enclosure?
