Cray,

Thanks for that, it's much appreciated.

There have been some changes made recently to the Atrixsynth blog
which will make for more interesting reading. Negative comments
regarding manufacturers from anonymous posters will no longer be
allowed and will be removed. You're still free to rant and rave, you
just have to put your name to them. I'm glad this has happened as
Matrix synth is by far the best analog synth blog going.

Along those lines howeve,r let me dispell some of the rumors that
popped up recently:

1) The Model 12's Mark II change was not done to fix a problem. It was
a performance enhancement only. I'm always listening and
tweeking...always. If I come across one I feel is significant, I
incoporate it. Much like the sine shaper change in the Model 15 rev. 1.5

2) The Model 24 is not a Buchla 266 clone. It's a completely unique
circuit. One look at the block diagram on the M24 page on the EAR
site will make this point clear. Noone has done this in quite this way
before. As far as it's functionality, I specifically asked Buchla and
Associates if they would have a problem with this. Their answer "Not
at all, everyone needs a wiggly voltage"

3) The Model 13 is close to a Lowpass Gate circuit. There are some
significant improvements as far as using that circuit with Doepfer
level signals as opposed to Buchla line level. There are components
put in the Modle 13 that wil not be foind in any other Lowpass Gate
replica - this includes the Cynthia Lowpass Gate, (which I designed)
and the Wiard Borg Filter.

I think thar's about it...for today, anyway.
