All, I've updated the Model 16 page on the EAR site with it's final configuration, which has grown since it's the original incarnation to include a number of new features to what already was a robust set of control options. In review, two controls have been added to the SWEEP function: A) STEP OUTPUT This output fires a pulse each time a filter in the matrix is activated with the Sweep control (via a pot or external VC). This trigger can be used to sync external devices, such as envelopes, as this occurs. This feature works in both lowpass and bandpass modes. B) HARD/SOFT Sweeping You'll notice the M16 has grown a new switch - a HARD/SOT selector which determines the response curve of the sweep control. Set to HARD, the activation of each filter is more abrupt (stepped). When set to SOFT, a dithering is applyed to the filter activations to that they crossfade slightly betwen one another as they are turned on and off by the Sweep function. --- The design of the PCBs is a bit over half completed, the faceplates are already on order. WIth five PCBs, it's going to take bit longer for this one to reach completion so I'd expect to see these within the next six weeks or so. - P
