Hey Peter,
I know you've already got your hands full, but I wanted to throw this
idea out there for the future.
How about an ELF "clock multiplier?" Doepfer has an excellent 4HP
divider, and a 4HP multiplier would be a great complement and a unique
addition to any sequencing system. As far as I know, the Tap Clock is
the only effective modular clock multiplier on the market. You could
use the same digital principles to build a simple jacks-only module
that parallels dividers. Speed up the resolution to produce not only
x2 and x3, but also x4, x6, or perhaps the esoteric (but musically
pleasing) x5 and x7, and get composite numbers by buying two or more!
Does anyone second the motion?
