Hey, I was borrowing one of these from a friend, and it would not self-cycle. I replaced D4 and all was good. You can find the proper diode at most radio shacks. Look for Small Signal Fast Switching Diodes, or typr 1N4148 or 1N914. It is very easy to get at the part. MIND POLARITY, there is a legend on the PCB to guide you in this respect. I am sure that you or a soldering friend could do the repair in less then 5 miniutes!
