Re: [PLAN_B_analog_blog] 1/8 switchcraft?????

2008-09-23 by Don Kim

The ones that all electronics sells are better (and pretty cheap 90cents if you bur more than 10), but no color coding. I wish they came in a few colors. I went there on Peter's reccomendation. The noisbug cables are pretty flimsy, but at least they're color coded.

I recently purchased my first full "set" of plan b modules...they came with seriously sub-

standard patch cords. (colored from noisebug.)

Peter, don't let them sell this junk with your modules!

I'm spoiled from the buchla 1/8 switchcraft.

From the archives, I see that peter had the buchla rep in, and they were very expensive. Plan

B should seriously reconsider. The patch cords I was sold from noisebug are junk. There is

a noticeable difference in VOLUME / CONTACT using the switchcraft "buchla" 1/8.

From a visual (i don't have a micrometer, it looks like the diameter of the switchcraft 1/8 are

larger than the "noisebug"cords.

Does anyone have a source for the "grey" with colored "head" buchla style 1/8 switchcraft on

the net? (besides b&a) I would like to order some in bulk. (and you should too!)

Thanks!
