As a 259e owner, and based on what I know currently know of the M30, my opinion is that they are nothing alike beyond they fact that they implement "analog" features via digital methods. I think it would be a mistake to think of the M30 as a substitute for the 259e. The M30 is its own beast and deserves to be thought of a something unique to Plan-B. Don't get me wrong. I love my 259e modules and I love my M15s. And, I will place a wager stating that: If Peter is going to put his stamp on the M30, it is going to be much more than a substitute, it is going to be the "shizz-nite!" as Master Shake would say. And just for the record: the 259e is definitely the "shizz-nite" as well.
