Jari, the M25 is about 3 inches deep, possibly a little less than that. The ring is AC coupled. This particular circuit did not yield a lot of difference between the two modes, but it was so damn quiet in carrier suppression I didn't want to mess with it just to add a feature everyone and their mother has done already. Instead I added a switch selectable feedback mode which nobody's done. There are ring feedbacks out there, but none that sound like the M25's. The top section of the M25 has two ways of getting noise. One is white and comes out of it's dedicated output. That's available all the time. The other output is the attenuator out which is present only if there's no external signal patched into the attenuator's input jack. If you have the attenuator switch to level, the pot gives you level control of the noise source. If the switch is set to waveshape, then it bends that noise so it in effect operates like pink. The output level of the noise is intentionally a bit low in amplitude. I love noise - when you want it. What I don't like is it bleeding back into the PSU's return line and screwing with all the other modules in the rack. The M25 doesn't do this. Hope this helps, - P --- In PLAN_B_analog_blog@yahoogroups.com, "jalmari3" <jari.jokinen@...> wrote: > > How deep is it? > > --- In PLAN_B_analog_blog@yahoogroups.com, "jalmari3" > <jari.jokinen@> wrote: > > > > Not much has been said about M25.
