Not sure you guys know that I've been working with Mort again (first time since....I'm embarrassed to say this...1978!), this time assisting with his Library of Congress archives and a a certain point will be re-copying his original patch sheets for the source materials used in his analog records (this will be very cool) but for now just assisting when I can with things he may need to get this rather daunting task completed. One thing he's doing is trying to get his old midi files together and in working order, and it's a problem of computer compatibility - a lot of this stuff was done on a Mac SE and stored on DD floppies. He was wondering if I knew of a serial midi interface for a Mac, and I happened to still have one which I was pretty sure I wouldn't need any longer (OMS Studio 4), so I shipped it out to him and made a joke that this will work out for both of us because I could say he uses my equipment! I was actually considering listing him on the EAR site as a user, sort of tongue and cheeky, but felt I would catch too much jazz for it. - P
