30 Euro to mail a padded envelope? woah. All you have to do is pull the component, stick it in a small piece of IC tubing (you can get this at any Electronics store - they probably won' charge you for a lttle piece). Tape off the ends to it won't fall out, and then put that in a padded envelope. If in fact it's that much, I'l just send you one without the replacement, but I would like the original back, even if it's maailed slow boat. I could send you the hex file, but you need a programmer specifically for the AT80C2051 micro-processor. If yu have one, cool. If not, they run more than 30 Euro usually. First, you need to determine if yours is in fact one that has the bad code. Verify whether or not your SELECT VC doesn't respond as listed in figure 2 of the MOdel 28 page on the EAR site. THe only difference is the order - the voltages - that need to be applied at the SELECT input to the the different notes out. They are till all available, just not in that order. I will send the turth tables in another post in a second. - P --- In PLAN_B_analog_blog@yahoogroups.com, "meic1965" <meic.kluge@...> wrote: > > --- In PLAN_B_analog_blog@yahoogroups.com, "(i think you can figure > that out)" <peter@> wrote: > > > > All, > > > > We have discovered an error in the programming of the Model 28 Tapper. > > There's a fix - please read on. > > > > There are two input pins on the microprocessor which determine which > > of the three SERIAL output states (quarter note/eight/triplet) are > > passed through.
