Mellotronists

I was finding it difficult to respond to a thread that I innocently 
wrote several days ago. Jeff, Jim & Janet, & Fritz were very kind in 
attempting to help but it was to no avail. The last response that I 
read was from some cretin who described me as a loser, and found it 
unreal that people were taking the time to assist a 
fellow "mellotronist". I also find this saddddddddd. 

My story that is still traveling in cyberspace was to confirm my 
mello is indeed a M400, # 530. As to updates , only a 2nd set of 
tapes (violins, male & female chorus & St Paul's Cathedral pipe 
organ, with one key, a gong. The story was a sojourn to London's 
Mellotronics, Ltd which was next door to the Peoples Republic of 
China's Consulate. M.Ltd was located on the 2nd floor and when I 
entered a very small office, sitting in the middle of the room was a 
plexiglas double manual mello.with several frames leaning against it. 
The names of Banks& Wakeman were written on 2 of the frames. I had 
previously contacted M.Ltd through Dallas Arbiter in Upper Saddle, 
NJ. M.Ltd rushed the tapes on a 5 day order and I picked up the new 
tapes and flew back to the states. I have limited my thread to bare 
facts, dropping the costs and the interaction of the staff d/t space 
restraints and the fact that one cretin spoiled this site for me 
personally. I live a quiet life and I have always tried to avoid 
interaction with slugs. So this is my farewell. mellotronko.
