Hi All, Happy New Year! Now the problem. I own M400 #1001 (got from Ken Merbler.) It has worked great for me. Unfortunately, recently I crushed the black power cord that was spliced to the white (British) power cord coming from the tron. Thinking, "no problem," I went to Home Depot and bought a new power outlet male end (3 prong, Leviton, yellow, a good one.) From the white power cord from the tron, I hooked up the brown wire inside to gound, and the blue and yellow/green wires to hot and neutral (or vice versa, I wouldn't know). With this connection, I am getting severe AC hum. I always got a little hum from the previous set-up, but now it is unbearable. Any suggestions for how to wire (splice?) the British, white power cord to work with American power supply so that I get no hum? I am afraid to wire it up in a different way to try before asking the group, cause I don't want to fry my tron. Again. The wires coming from the tron inside the white casing are brown, blue, yellow/green. If anyone knows how to put a plug end on to minimise and/or eliminate the AC hum, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for any answers, and sorry in advance for such a potentially rudimentary question. Roc www.mp3.com/healingghosts
