staying in France. He has fractured his pelvis and broken his leg.
He will be in traction for 10 days and then on flat on his back for
a minimum of 3 weeks.

It is almost certain that the first three gigs of the Jan/Feb UK
tour (10, 11, 12 Jan) will be cancelled. There was to have been a
warm-up gig at the Swan in Isleworth also, and that will also go.
Obviously that decision will not be taken lightly, but I know
without asking that all the fans, despite their disappointment at
not seeing the boys as expected, would not wish Dave to take any
risks which might endanger his full recovery.
