I don't think there's any real 'tron on anything after "cyclone" but then I don't really know their material after this point anyway. it's minimal on this album. steve might remember- he saw them on that tour- but I doubt they used them live after 1978. I'm sure I can hear bits of choir, at least, up to '82's 'White Eagle'. Unless they were using an early 'remortgage your house' sampler, I don't know what else would make that sound at that time. "force majeure" (1979) is the last album I bought, and there's no gear list (odd, for them) on the cd version. the vinyl version.... you'd be hard-pushed to hear any detail on it anyway, on that crackly clear vinyl.... (all vinyl would be clear were it not for the antistatic carbon impregnation; they sure made a mess of this pressing). a quick spin of FM reminds me that there is a ton of string synth, and much drummage, and that faked guitar solo we argued over on the goldtri list a few years back. no 'tron. I'm taking the cd off again now because it sucks bigly. Always quite liked that one! The last time I listened to it I was sure I could hear 'Tron in places. I'll have to dig it out again. I *do* know where some of the tapesets are though. about three feet away. Showoff. :-) Andy T. M400 #1145 http://freespace.virgin.net/andy.thompson/
