Re: [Mellotronists] mellotron rental

2007-08-12 by Bruce Daily

How ironic.

I bought a Mellotron last March on ebay from a
gentleman who had one in a studio in Bloomington. He
said it was once used on Mellencamp's album "Mr.
Lucky". I promptly carted it here to Colorado. The
unit needed lots of help. It is now being reworked
and refinished, should be better than ever. But
Indiana is a wee bit too far for rental purposes. I
wish everyone involved in the production the very best
of luck locating one. Mr Mellencamp obviously has
good taste.
