1970 Marcos sold!

1970 Marcos sold!

2002-04-22 by mcaqmd

Hi all,

OK, who bought the orange/black '70 Marcos from Hayes at Wirewheel??
He hardly had it in the door. Last time I looked it was in transit.

Is the buyer on the list?? Is it you Bennett??

Had a graet 200 mile run yesterday with one section consisting of 6
miles of "switchbacks" up a 12 degree grade and 6 miles down the
same. All worked well and I was pushing it! Had to leave the other
British Cars to their leisure. One AH 3000 tried his best to keep up
but just couldn't do it. Stainless steel brake hoses are great!!

Picnic lunch overlooking the Pacific, drive down to Mendocino, CA and
then home. Great day!!

Have a good week.

No Don, et.al....I wasn't me!!! Hey, if it had been me, I wouldn't be
replying to this for another week, or two, or maybe three...months!!!

I'm still looking though.

On that note though... got an email on the black 1800 in Cal. The
replyer is trying to get me the ###'s and any other background.
Supposed to here from him this week sometime. He did say that is the
same owner for 24 years and its 97 percent original. That's all I know
for now...

BTW Don...thanks for sharing that little bit about the 200 mile
excursion...NOT... You're just trying to make me more jealous!!!

Cheers...
