I totally agree with the comments about right hand drive over here.
I brought my Marcos with my when I moved here to Los Angeles from the
UK. I live close to Beverly Hills, so I am always being asked what
the car is. If I am driving in the left lane then it is easy for
someone in the right lane to start a conversation at the stop lights.
No prizes for guessing which lane I mostly drive in!!I was once
driving through Beverly Hills following my wife (we had just picked
up her car from being serviced)and a great looking girl in a BMW Z3
pulled up alongside me and started chatting. At every stop light she
made sure to stop right next to me and continue the conversation
(that's my story anyway). I could see my wife looking in her rear
view mirror observing what was going on. Finally I saw her turn round
and wag her finger at me!! Busted !!!! She at least saw the funny
side of it when we got home.

How many times have you ever been driving your Marcos and been fortunate
enough (shocked)to see another one? Its never happened to me.

Re: RHD/Two at once!

2001-08-23 by Don Lattimer

Mike Denman is going to meet me at Route 101 in San Jose, CA on
Saturday and then we will travel together for about 1 hour south to
the Pacific Beach, CA British Car Meet and wine tour. A red one and
a blue one (Marcii, not wine). Having only had mine 7 weeks and just
starting to get used to the wide-eyed stares, I can't imagine what
will happen with 2 of them traveling down the road together. Should
be fun!

Hi,
Must have missed you when I went to Palm Springs/southern CA to look
at/pick up my Marcos. I knew of one in Rainbow, CA, one in LA, and one
in Moreno Valley. Saw the one in Rainbow and bought the one I wanted in
Palm Springs. Where are you located? My son lives in Corona and I get
down there occassionally to see him. Maybe we could hook up.
