New Member - self introduction -

2002-01-28 by Katsuki Takeshita ( Marcos Mantula )

Hello,

I am '91 Mantula owner living in Japan ( age 32 ).
This is the first posting.

I bought Mantula ( 3.9litre Rover V8 ) last Autumn.
Many troubles come out in these days.
So, my Mantula is now in the repair factory for 3 months.

Before I bought my Mantula, she was sleeping for 7 years in the warehouse.
Her mileage was about 80 miles when I bought her, I thought it's good condition one.
But now in troubles.

In Japan Marcos' are very very rare.
So I maintain her as long as possible.

Sayonara ( mean good-bye),

Katsuki Takeshita

Hello, and welcome to our group!!!
That is really great to find that a Marcos has made its way to Japan!
I used to collect Japanese toys myself, but sold most of them so I
could purchase my Marcos.

Don't feel bad about your car having troubles though. Most cars that
sit that long are going to have a few when you get them on the road
again.
Mine had some problems related to storage as well.

I would like to put you in our Marcos Owners Registry if you could
email me some inforamtion and maybe a picture at:
DovenWolf@...

I hope that you are able to get the problems sorted out soon and
enjoy your cool car.
