Does anyone have a source for front and rear bumpers? I'm not overly fond of the bumper look, but if I do go the originality route, I'll need to replace both the front and rear sets. Thanks, Dano in Daytona 1970 3M/5463 Essex

Dan, I'm pretty sure you can get them through Rory McMath at Marcos Heritage Spares in England. Regards, Paul Dransfield 3 litre Volvo

Hi all, In reply to ashley's request, I purchased new plastic front and rear bumpers about six years ago from Marcos Cars Ltd but I should think that Rory McMath can now supply these. In an article in one of the marcos owners club magazines in 1998, an owner of a pre 1970 wooden chassis marcos claimed to have had moulds made of the original type front bumpers which extend back under the bonnet and I believe that these moulds have been passed on to Rory as well which could help anyone with an older car trying to get back some originality as these bumpers were unavailable from the factory for years and consequently many cars including mine have the incorrect newer style bumpers. I hope this helps. Lee Brinkley 1967 1600 GT 5097 Reg. SMX138F lbrinkley@... (044)(0)1277 261400 Fax: (044)(0)1277 261525

I just wanted to chip in on this too and say that I would try Rory McMath at Marcos Heritage: http://www.rory.uk.com/Marcos/marcos.htm as well. He has most of the Marcos molds now and should be able to help. Jeff Caraway #8052 1984 Ford V6 GT
