I saw the add also.
I wonder why the flip so quickly?
Maybe it has termites.......
A friend of mine bought a 1930's Gardener four door sedan from local pest control company
called Truly Nolan.
The car coach works had termites. I would have asked for them to tent the car....

The guy who bought the Marcos e-mailed me and told me that he purchased the Marcos then found another car that he'd been "chasing" for quite a long time - that's why he's selling the Marcos now.

He didn't say what he bought but I checked his ebay purchases and he's bought a lot of Jag XK 120 / 140 stuff like knobs and manual and such.
Are you sure about the $15k price ? I was pretty sure that car went for $10 100. If I remember correctly, the reserve was $10 K and $100 more than the reserve bought the car.

i own the marcos on ebay and you can be assured there are no termites........and the only reason i am selling it is because i did find something else i have wanted for a long long time,and i just have too many cars,including that jag 140 ots that i am buying all those knobs and things for(frame off restoration,wish thats all i was buying for it.) and allready owning another marcos gt i have decided to sell this one,so i will still be marcosing,any way i think its a great group you have here and i have and will continue to learn alot,cheers,anthony. --- In MarcosManiacs@yahoogroups.com, surfnut74 <surfnut74@...> wrote:
