Just thought I'd drop by and say hello to all the Maniacs I know.

I've been very remiss in updating the website, but it's had an update
now - Thanks to Gary Harman for lots of the pictures.

I trust all those of you who I know personally are well and enjoying
your Marcoses more than I do - I really MUST get mine back on the road.

Cheers.

Mark

Hey guys,
#5284 is for sale on e-bay 1969 wood. As I was looking at the
pics. the doors have the handles where you can slip your hand in {poor
description} on my 69 I have different doors at the handle when did they change the
designe? I like the old style better, looks a little more spoty then a chrome
thumb button. The e-bay car is in New York Don do you have a record of this
chasis?

Nope, it's new to me! I'll add it to the registry. If anyone knows
the seller or bids on the car, please let me know the outcome. I'd
like to know where it ends up. THanks!

Hi Mark,
I was wondering what was happening since I hadn't noticed as many updates to your web site. It is a lot of work to keep a web site current and I know that all the Marcos owners appreciate all your effort. My Marcos continues to run great but there always seems to be something that needs to be changed, modified, or fixed. This year I am treating myself to a trip to the UK during the month of Sept. I plan on visiting Beaulieu autojumble the first weekend and then work my way north to York to see Jac Myers (you probably know Jac but if you don't he owns a 1800 like mine). Jac and I have been corresponding by email for the last 5 years or so. On the way to and from Jac's house I plan on visiting some of the Marcos vendors, the TVR vendors (I have a 1965 TVR 1800), and various other specialist like Holden. It will be a fun trip and I am looking forward to it.
Regards,
Mike Denman

Hey guys
I was looking at the pics. of the car on e-bay and it appears
that he has smaller tires on the rear and bigger on the front is that just an
optical allusion? Also his side view mirrors are much more forward than my 69
where is the proper position? Where mine are I have terrible sight lines and
was wondering how everyone else has theirs set up?

Hi Hal,
I have mounted my mirrors on the front of the doors just below the
window. This might not work for a street car as I have no windows. The best
location I have seen is high on the Windscreen pillar about two thirds the
way up.

My outside mirror is worthless also. I have a "wink" mirror on the inside which solves the problem. They are the multi panel mirrors. I'd like to get a set that mounts on the pillar but can't seem to get any details on them.

I will see what mirrors I can get. Mine are off my Formula Atlantic and work
well.

That car sold for $12100 USD !! Unreal. It wasn't even driveable
and the windows were cracked and the paint bubbled.

Any body want to give me $22K USD for mine?? Drive it home!
