Seasonal Greetings

Seasonal Greetings

2004-12-21 by Mark Saxby

I can't even remember the last time I posted here, but I trust
everyone I know, either in person or via the Interwebby is hail and
hearty and looking forward to 2005.

To give you all a little lift in these cold months (unless, of
course, you live in warm climes or the Southern hemisphere), I've
done something radical and updated the Unofficial Marcos Homepage,
which most of you (unless you've visited the classified section)
probably believed to be dormant (or even dead!).

Enjoy Christmas and have a great 2005!

Mark

Mark,
Almost gave up on ya! The pic of the XP2 in Japan was a pic that was on Ebay awhile back. Don't think it sold.

Hi Mark, and seasons greetings to you and your family. It's good to
hear the Unofficial Marcos pages are getting a face lift, I'll be
sure to visit.

On that subject and following this recent chain about the XP, I
can't find your report on the Maniacs visit to the car. Are those
pages still active?

Cheers, and have a great Christmas,
Dave.

Maniacs XP visit - Dave McGill

2004-12-26 by Don Lattimer

Dave,

You can find the description of the visit on Mark's site by clicking
on "My Car", then click on the pic of Mark's car with the oceanliner
in the background, and then click on "Meeting a Legend". You'll be
close at that point. There is a link in the body of the text.

Also, is Brian Booth a Marcos owner??

Hi Don,

Thanks for the pointers but I still can't find the page, when I click on
the picture of Mark's car I just get an enlarged view, I must be doing
something wrong!!!
If you have the time could you forward me the link to the page?

Unfortunately Brian is not a fellow Marcos owner, but just happened to
Thunderhill in his Toyota MR2 when the Mantis arrived. Having said that
he is very knowledgeable about cars and not only does he know of Marcos
cars in general, but had already been aware of the existence of the
Mantis.

Cheers,
Dave.

You're absolutely right! Click on the icon with the pen, ink, and book (Just below "Living with CLE 100H) or try this link:
Hopefully one or the other will work.
