FW: Triumph Vitesse hubs
2003-05-12 by pauldransfield@iname.com
Hi Guys,
I sent an enquiry off last Friday to Merlin Motorsport in England regarding
front hubs and their response is below. This weekend I took a look at my car
and found that my front hubs take the larger GT6/Vitesse bearings and my
rear drums have already been drilled for a 4 x 4 1/4" PCD. So it would
appear that the easiest solution to enable me to go to 15" wheels with
minimum expense would be to acquire the new hubs and reposition the rear
studs. Does anyone know what size studs were used on the cars originally?
And which of the two stud sizes below is bigger?
Regards,

Hi Paul,
The hubs come with a 4" and 4.25" PCD delivery to Canada is £40.00, the
hubs will be £79.50 each, the total bill will be £199.00. We can supply
studs with M12 x1.5 thread, 1 5/8" or 2 3/8" long, or 7/16unf in 1 3/4" or 2
3/8" long, the studs are £1.45 each and if you want we will press them in to
the hubs free of charge. I hope this is of use.
Regards
Gary
