New member with a V-4 with pix

New member with a V-4 with pix

2003-02-23 by Don Lattimer <donlattimer@pacific.net>

Hi all,

We have a new member from the UK named Mick who is restoring a V4.
I've put some pics of his "old" chassis (scary!) and also his new
chassis from MHS. Also a nice pic of the car before resto began.
Pix are in photo album "Mick's".

My original question after seeing the "before" pic was "why restore
it?". Then Mick sent me the chassis pics! Just reaffirms my belief
that I will never buy a car without seeing it in person.

Welcome Mick and thanks for joining the group. We'll get to 100
members yet!!

Re: New member with a V-4 with pix/mufflers (silencers?)

Mick,

Glad you joined us!

Could you give me the dimensions for your silencers? Length, width,
and thickness please. What manufacturer?

I've found some here in the states that are 12 inches x 5 inches and
only 3 inches thick.

Thanks,
