HEy Dave,
For some reason I cant get that site up. I would like to see
what a 140000 dollar car looks like. Thanks,
                                          Hal

Dear Hal,

It is:

http://www.specialty-sales.com/

I've written to them last month inquiring about trading meself in for it but they said that my trade-in offer was too much so I wrote back that their asking price was too much too!

Only thing that bothers me is its overall performance and concerns about condition of wood frame for that year.

Best regards,

Svelte

Hi folks,

I went to Specialty Sales this past summer to look at the car and it
was not there. The salesman said the owner did not want the car to
be in the showroom. He said the owner was "different" and would only
let the car be seen by appointment.

It is fairly rare if in fact it does have the DeDion (4 wheel
independent suspension). Very early car and rare!!

If you look close, it appears that it has the longer front end (like
a 3 Litre) because the headlight covers are the early style and they
do not cover the whole area (look at the front of the cover). So it's
not totally original. Maybe it has been in an accident? A racing
history?

A $5000 drop in price says something tho........Although I doubt that
it will go any lower. It would probably be a good buy at $12K.
