Hi all,

I've looked over the "photos" section and we are running out of
room. Some of the pics are in excess of 800kb! The size of the pic
we see is approximately 50-90kb. The only reason to keep the
original size is if you want prints made.

I can recover a lot of room by re-posting the pics for everyone.
It's fairly easy. The only noticeable change (and small at that)
would be that it would have my name where it says "posted by". The
pictures would all be the same.

If that's acceptable with everyone I'll go ahead and convert them.
I've done a few already and saved 3Mb of space! As we expand in
membership it would be nice to have a place where new members can
post pics.

Please try to keep any pics that you post to 100kb or less. Thanks.

Don . . .
That's OK. Or, if you tell me how to do it, I can do the ones of my Mantis.

Hi Don,

Sorry for delay in getting back to you about the photos but New Year
got in the way!

TFM-GT did not have the best of years racing in 2002. They did not
enter all of the races, and had a "paying" driver in a few rounds who
was not really in the same class as Gerry Taylor and Paul Stephens.

In the 1st race at Brands Hatch the bonnet came off and put the car out
of the race. Their second car came 2nd or 3rd in class. There were only
a few rounds where both cars were entered.

In the other rounds a electrical gremlin caused a number of problems
and was believed to be in the loom its self. Not until late in the
season the engine was switched between chassis and the fault reoccured
the problem was hopefully solved, believed to be the alternator. In the
final Friday practice secession of the season the engine was "buzzed"
and they never managed to check if the problem had gone.

The car finished in 3rd place again in class at Castle Combe, but never
again in the top 3 in class. 2 buzzedd engines and the electrical
glitch during the season really did not help, along with a sponser
backing out at the last minute.

I have a video of the TV coverage of the main 5 or 6 races but the car
is not snown much in the 3 hours! If you wanted a copy I can send you a
NTSC version, but there is that little of the car!
