Marcos Maniacs

Hello all

.. Yup I am new, Just thought I'd introduce myself, and the marcos 
cars I (and my father() have.

I have a 1993 Martina ( I hear you all hiss ) with a 2l Pinto engine 
and my father has a 1993 Mantara 3.9 v8 ( factory built ).

I have loads of questions to ask.. I know I have the "odd one out" 
but I hope I still qualify for assistance ;)

Hi Andi,

I don't think anyone will hiss about a Martina. Lots of Mantulas and 
V6s are kits and the Cortina front end actually pre-empted a lot of 
the features on the Mantara and Mantis!

I'm also pleased to note they have good brakes, which prevented an 
inattentive owner from tail ending me on the CMI/MOC rally, back in 
1994! :^)

WOW, THE Mark Saxby !

I must say Mark, your efforts and time you have put into your website 
are most certainly commendable, impressive and totally necessarry ! 

I stumbled upon your website when I was considering buying a Marcos, 
and it really did help a lot, even my father was very impressed and 
he used your comments and guidelines when he was buying his Mantara :)
