Marcos Maniacs

Hi Maniacs,
I have posted two new photos of Mark Petrinovich's Marcos and mine 
at the Volvo meet in Davis California on Sunday. Don Lattimer showed 
up later in his V6 Marcos so we had a total of 3 Marcos cars at the 
event which was pretty neat. Don has been doing so work on his 
engine compartment and it really shines and looks great. On Monday I 
participated at a "track" day with the same Volvo group.The track 
day had 65 cars made up of mostly Volvo's. In the mix was perhaps 12 
Volvo race cars of various kinds and a lot of Volvos including 
vintage 1800's and brand new turbo's. We also had 3 Audi TT's and a 
new Porsche Carrera. The weather was overcast and we got some 
sprinkles but it never really rained very hard. I was third fastest 
overall behind the Porsche (by 2 seconds a lap)and one other car and 
fastest in my group. My Marcos went well and could have gone faster. 
I put in a Quafie limited slip on the previous Saturday and it also 
worked well. I was seeing 6200 rpms on the short straight in 4th 
(3.77 rear end). In my group I got to do a lot of passing which was 
fun. I would often catch and then pass as many as 4 cars at a time 
on the short straight. Fun!!!
