Hi all,

Mine too was registered as a 1967.  It is actually a '71 (3M5759). It 
was imported by a San Jose, CA police officer.  It even has a brass 
plate installed by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair stating 
it is a '67.  I believe it was registered as a '67 due to the fact 
that the US banned covered headlights in 1968.  XKEs if I recall 
dropped the covered headlights for 1968 (maybe 1969?).  My 
brothers '69 XKE has open headlights.

Who knows?  Interesting stuff!!
