RE: [MarcosManiacs] Stephen Spaldings 2,5T

Johan
I think the car came with the current bonnet, When I purchased the
car in Feb. 1975, the car had been in storage for about two years. Their
was a few speeding tickets from around London (the front Avon tires where
like new but the back were in bad shape, with 7,600 mi. on the car) so the
first owner must have been having a good time!!! So there could have been a
change before the car was shipped to the US and placed in to storage. Any
thoughts on how I could confirm?
Keep us posted on your restoration, and your engine changes!

Hi there listers

Noticed on the marcos maniacs web page that Stephens triumph engined
car has the V6 bonnet rather than the volvo type. has it been changed
or was it delivered like that.
Re my rust restration

Went out in to the grage yesterday evening and dismantled the dash.
seems to me that whoever put the car together the car never mounted
the front bulkhead to the frame (only the front footwells. Still I
have to dismantle it all to make sure.

Yours Johan
