That's very cool news!
I find it kind of interesting that the LM600 is homologated (till 2006)
even though the main factory is gone.
I also find it interesting that Marcos is homologated and the major
competitor TVR is no where to be found.
Wonder if they are going to run at Lemans as well?
 
I wish I could make it down there, but I'll have to rely on good old
Speedvision as well.

Hi all,

Looks like MARCOS is preparing another assault on the Rolex 24 Hours 
of Daytona.  Apparently there will be three cars this year; 2 
Mantaras and an LM600.  Go to www.rolex24.com and check out the 
testing session photos.  You'll see a light blue Mantara in left hand 
drive (blasphemy!).

Qualifying is Jan 31/Feb 1 with the race Feb 2/3.  Is anyone going 
this year?  As I've recently been transferred to Washington DC, I'm 
afraid I'll have to miss the race this year.  Although I haven't 
confirmed it, Speedvision offered flag to flag coverage of the race 
last year.  I'm praying they'll do the same this year.
