Hi Jac, Welcome to our group! Your car sounds great and looks wonderful (he sent me some pictures)! Look for Jac's addition to the Marcos registry and his feature page on the Marcos Maniacs site coming up soon! Can't wait to hear how that under tray works out. My name is Jac Myers, my home is near York in the North of England. I have owned my 1800 Volvo GT for 29 years Chassis No 4057. During this time I have rebuilt it several times. Learning the skills reqired as I have gone along, I have rebuilt the wood chassis for and aft,and have fabricated a steel front sub frame. The latter has been powder coated in blue to match the Vauxhall Haze Blue of the body. The uphoslery is also Blue, and is done in Antelope Hide. The car rolls on Chrome wire spoke wheels. The best mod I ever made was to fit my own design electric windows, absolute bliss in the summer, just being able to open the pasenger window for ventilation. The engine is fitted with a B20E head with 44mm induction valves,The head has had 2.4mm removed to give a compression ratio of 10.2:1, the cam is 3/4 race, and aspiration is via twin 45mm SUs. The rear axle is Ford Cortina GT fitted with a Corsair diff'3.9:1. Last week I fabricated an under tray for the engine bay, this is designed to reduce drag and force more air through the radiator. If I have mastered the virtual thing, I will let everyone know how it scores.
