Hi Jeff, 
The mirrors that you are referring to are either Raydots or Talbolts 
(sp?). These mirrors are not actually "Marcos" mirrors in a true 
sense.  They were (are) aftermarket mirrors that were (are)popular 
during the time the cars were being produced.  The mirrors might have 
been added at either the factory, the dealer, or by the owner.  Modern 
copies are still available from a variety of USA and UK sources.
