I recently obtained a G27 from Hayes Harris at wire wheel and have been trying to do some research however am having little luck, Obviously each car is different, but I can't seem to figure out what the difference is between a G4/4 and the G27. I have also been trying to find some production figures, my only source so far is an article from Practical classics june 1996 which combine the G4/4 and the G27 and indicates a quantity of 120, but the is no further information as to how many were made spcifically for the G27 racing series and how many were road cars., and finally does anyone know how many were imported into the US, either as factory assembled or "kit". This particular car seems have been a "world traveler" with a few incarnations, one with a buick-rover V-8, and now with it's current configuration, a 2 litre Ford Duratec.
