I totally
agree with what you say, light and nimble, Colin Chapman, the Walkett Bros. and
Arthur Mallock all subscribed to that theory. I did a hillclimb with a TVR
Tuscan 289 V8, I found that the Triumph front brakes at the first hairpin
weren't quite up to the job! bought a Ginetta G4 1000cc cosworth, it was 4
seconds quicker....
So now I
run Mallock U2 in Historics, 120hp weighs 800lb, it's fast
enough!
