A lot depends on the conditions in the garage. Was it dry all the time? Was the humidity low? Was the car covered up? Was it on blocks? The first thing to check is the condition of the chassis to see if there is any deterioration. It's a big job to repair it if there is major rust damage. Will the engine turn over by hand? After sitting so long, there could be seal deterioration in the engine, brake cylinders and clutch cylinders etc. You should have an expert check the car over first to get an idea about what needs to be done. A full restoration can be very expensive but if the car was carefully stored, the cost may not be too prohibitive at all.
