Marcos Maniacs

The car on eBay is definitely a post 1980 model, most of which were V8s. The
giveaway is the lack of bonnet clips, which were superseded by a
cable-operated locking mechanism similar to a pair of hood releases, and the
design of the front of the bonnet is definitely from a later model. If this
car has a 4 cylinder engine, it was probably a kit, though the bulge on the
bonnet was usually to accommodate a V6 or V8. The vendor obviously knows
very little about the marque and may have registered it as a 1967 to get it
into the country. 

 

It'll be interesting to see what it goes for. It's in such poor condition,
I'd be surprised if it sells for more than a few thousand dollars. What a
shame it was allowed to deteriorate so far.
