Don, You worked it out. My V6 racer is the blue no 3 car( in Victory Lane). The Mantaray is the last one built(but never finished) so I am thinking of making it a Targa topped car. The one I just picked up is a V6 but a 1982 # 8001, the first one made when the company restarted. Interestingly I have had a lot of interest from the racing community and two people have asked if I could find cars for them. If the experience in the UK is anything to go by , racing generates interest and increases the value of cars generally. It also creates a market for the not perfect car since there are a lot of changes you tend to make to go racing. By way of example , in the UK, Marcos racers are very successful and a good car can fetch $50,000, yes $50,000, if it has a racing pedigree. Also, I am working to see if we can bring a bunch of Marcos racers to the US for a series in the new year. If the success of the MG and Austin Healey visits are anything to go by it would increase significantly the Marque exposure I will go ahead and set up a for sale section on the website in the next few weeks. I will also post my racing dates and locations and extend an open invitation to other Marcos owners to come to the races. Seattle is still in the plans but I am spending a lot of time in the uk with our company there. Sadly we lost one of our employees in the Bus Bombing on July 7th. It was particularly difficult as we only have 30 employees in that office and they are a close knit group. But life goes on.
