Congratulations Paul! At least you get to drive your new toy.
I got mine (#5366) back in December and after discovering some structural issues
with the wood chassis, I've pushed it into a corner until I can clear away some
other short-term projects before addressing it. I thought it was going to
be a matter of replacing/rebuilding the hydraulics and doing some other minor
work before I could drive it. But, now it looks like it's going to take at
least 6 months for me to get a chance to enjoy it as more than just a beautiful
work of art. I'm envious.

Subject: [MarcosManiacs] Another Marcos in Canada
I would like to take this opportunity in introducing myself to the
group. I have for many years been a Marcos fan and admirer of the cars.
I recently took the plunge and bought a car in England Vin # 3V5808 -
1971 Volvo - 3L ( Reg # GYG 508J ) it has now arrived (today ) and
has taken up residence in Aurora, Canada.
Anyone who would like info about brininging a car over from the UK,
It's quite the experience!!!!
Car is in good / excellant condition. Have been in contact with Paul
Dransfield, who is a neighbour and who has given me alot of advice and
support. I have a lot to learn in looking after the car, so no doubt
you will be hearing from me in the future.
Paul
