Don, There are 3 thru bolts that secure the retaining bracket for the tank to the forward bulkhead of the boot near the center of the boot. The nuts are self locking, and on the differintial side, so they have to be held all the way out. Best to have someone help you. If you need a new tank, I have a fabrication shop that I use that has made one for Hal in Colorado. It cost about $225 including UPS ground. This reflects the rise in steel since I had Hals' made.
