Hal,
The DeDion rear end was used in less than 30 cars I believe
and they were all the 1800 Volvo cars (wood frame).

I plan on trying to build a streetable track car. I would like to be able to compete well against my class. I was speaking to the elgibility guru from Rocky mtn vintage racing and he was flipping through a book of cars and thier motors and the like. He couldnt find any info on a 1600 engine for the '66. He said I would have to get proof. All I have is an advertisement with the different power plants but there is no date on it. Also, if you were to build a track/street car what engine trans would you use?Would it be worth my time to change the rear end. (de dion} Do you recall the way this car was set up to race back in the 60sHal5006
