Here's #2080.  It's about a spring supplier, not shocks.  As far as Koni or
Spax, I've never had good luck with Spax and Konis' were on my car when I
got it.  I'm happy with the AVOs and have heard good comments from guys in
the UK.

I just got a reply from Koni to say the refurbishment cost of my shocks
would be $100 apiece plus parts plus shipping. That would be more or less
the same price as your AVO shocks. How would you rate them compared to Koni
or Spax?
I cannot access the Maniacs web site from here so I would appreciate if you
could give me the details of post #2080.

Paul,
The AVO shocks are adjustable both in height(threaded shock body)
and damping. They are also factory rebuildable. If Koni can rebuild
your shocks it would probably save you some $$.
Check post #2080 for details on Brits, Inc. in Sonoma, CA, a
supplier of springs.
