RE: [MarcosManiacs] racing question)

2003-08-21 by Jan M Larsen

Larry,
I don't know the correct US word for wishbone, but in the front suspension
they are the link arms to the wheels/brakes called the lower and upper
wishbone.

A good thing is that they are bending, if "someone" drives a little folish
and hit
something with the wheel, and not the strong frontframe (I couldn't get the
new
ones in time before the next race last June so I had to bend them back,
which
actually needed some heavy tools and some soldering, but it worked :)

By the way, a good place for Triumph suspension/brakes spares etc., and with
good
prices: http://www.jamespaddock.co.uk and they even answer your emails!

Another thing, - if someone knows anything about the "inside" rear disc
brakes that
are race FIA homologated for the 1800 IRS rear, I would very much like to
hear about it,
about what car/model the discs are from, the calipers (and how they are
mounted),
handbrake etc.
Also about where the homologated tandem (two circuit) master brake cylinder
are from.
And finally where the main radiator and fan are from.

  Jan,
I plead ignorance here, but what is the wishbone in the Marcos?
