Re: Electrical information 1800 versus modern Mantis/LM

2003-04-19 by Christian Fey

Hello Maarten Krikken,

perhaps a little help will be:

www.geocities.com/marcos_cars

you will find under "Technical" and than "other Documents" several
manuals with the wiring of different cars from pre 71 until mid 80`s.
The PDF´s can be downloaded.

Concerning the LM and Mantaray/Mantis I would contact:

www.marcoscentre.nl

Nico Baas himself is owner of a "Speedex". This car of the late
fifties was the first car of Jem Marsh long before MARCOS was
founded. As far as I know he owns as well one of the Triumph powered
GT and the one and only LHD Mantaray in Europe. Last year he did a
restauration on a LM500 in his workshop. I believe he is the biggest
MARCOS workshop on the continent (Europe). Last time I visited the
workshop in November 2002 his team was restauring 5 different MARCOS
same time. He surely can give some help to your friend.

Good Luck
CF
