Nick, My main light switch is a rocker on the dash. The instrument light switch is also a rocker on the dash. The stalk on the column has three positions (off, high beam, and low beam). By pulling (or maybe pushing) the stalk, the high beams flash (dip?). You know what I mean. The main switch on the dash has to be on for the lights to operate. When the main switch is on and the stalk is in the off position, the rear lights and "parking" lights in the front are on. Mine is a RHD so the light stalk is on the left side and the turn signals are on the right side of the column. Isn't that nice and clear??
