The manifolds must be different now as the ones I bought from him to 
replace the cast iron ones I needed remove a good 1 inche wide by 10 
inch long by 6 inches high area from the inner side of the foot well. 
It follows a frame member back from the engine compartment. Don 
actually saw it if he remembers. I bought them 2 years ago I guess.

Dano in Fla has the car now along with the cutting diagram that came 
with it.
