Ashley,
I have the V6 with:
1. no anti-roll bar in the front (doesn't need it
for my driving)
2. Check the build manuals for the plate that
is needed for the boot lock
3. Rory sells tubular exhaust manifolds but I
believe you have to cut the footwells to install it. The cast iron ones
(original) are just swapped from side to side so they face
forward.
4. I put an alternator in mine instead of the
original generator and it works fine with the amp gauge
5. I just purchased AVO shocks which are
height-adjustable but I do have a sump plate that is welded on.
I can take pics of the boot lock set-up and email
them if you want.

1) do you guys have metal strips holding the carpets down along the
sills?
2) does you boot lock, lock? (the new locks I have seem to rely on a
striker plate turning 90degrees away from the push part of the lock,
which works for the doors but not the boot!
3) Does your car have an anti roll bar at the front - this question
for those with the metal framed Ford V6 in particular?
4) any advice on an exhaust system? are there tubular manifolds
available?
5) Any need/availability of a sumjo guard (don't all answer this at
once! - I've seen past comments about ground clearance!)
6) Have you got a Amp meter or volt meter in your car? I've just
replaced the wiring loom and the new loom did not have wiring for my
amp meter since it is now wired for a alternator which should be
better for the power! this means I can either leave it in the dash
not functioning or fit a volt meter (battery condition). I guess if
you guys are still running original looms then you've probably still
got amp meters!
ok that should do for now - if you've not gathered I've got the week
off to work on the car! so far the wiring is all in, and the trim is
two rear panels off being completed! it looks like a car again! I
sat in it for the first time in 6 years and am wondering now how I
can press the pedals!!!
cheers guys
Ashley
