Hi Dave,
As far as I know, the GT6 front suspension settings should be used. I'd like
to have that confirmed myself because I need to have an adjustment due to
uneven tire wear.
I'm pretty sure the front windshield has to be modern safety glass. When I
replaced mine last year, I wanted a tinted version similar to what I had
originally but the law appears to have changed. I could have a top tint but
not the double anti-sun bronze tint. The cost of my new windshield was less
than 200 pounds, FOB the factory, but I don't recall the exact amount.
The rear screens were available in glass through the Marcos Owners Club but
I'm not sure if they still are. Colin Feyerabend, who used to run the club,
helped acquire the front screens for both my coupe and Ron McLeod's Mantis
last year from Pilkington Glass in England and he secured my glass rear
screen for me back in 1980 when my car was rebuilt following a fire. I have
had both the plexiglass and the glass versions on my car and can state
unequivocally that the glass rear screen is VASTLY superior. I'd suggest you
contact Colin to determine if the glass rear screen are still available. In
1980, the cost was around 85 pounds, if I recall correctly.
You can get the parts from Marcos Heritage spares but you'll pay a hugely
inflated price.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [MarcosManiacs] front suspension
Hey Guys,
Does anyone know if we use the factory GT6 toe-in, camber and
castor settings or did Marcos tweek them to suit his own geometry.
Also I understand that the factory windshield is a pricey piece
mine is very badly scratched to the point where polishing it would
really distort the glass........would it be possible to use a lexan
or plexiglass .......are they legal, the rear window I understand is
already lexan.......do the plastics scratch easy.......are they
flexible enough to accept the compound curves without distorting or
cracking.......any ideas????
